Another stunning year for Nebbiolo in the Yarra Valley. Heady perfume and so tannins in the fruit took us down a slightly different path this year, with the focus firmly on purity. Exceptionally gentle ferment management and long elevage in small neutral oak gave this fruit a chance to shine. Serve with a light chill to get the full ʻmisty morningʼ experience.
TASTING NOTES
High toned florals and vibrant red fruits, with a gentle edge of baking spice. Silky delicate tannins wrap a compact but plush fruit core. Raspberry, cranberry, fresh plum. Bright acidity carries the fruit right to the back of the palate, with hints of coriander seed and bramble refreshing the finish. Ridiculously moreish.
